While attending the University of Connecticut, John helped pay tuition by returning home every weekend to continue working on his business. When he graduated in 1975 with a degree in horticulture, he had the expertise required to offer many additional services to his growing list of customers. The range of services offered by Ultimate Services today is simply unmatched by any other company in the field. It runs the gamut from lawn care, pesticide treatment, and renovation to arborist services, landscape design, orchard and vineyard management, gardening services, snow removal and more.

John's strong commitment to education has benefited his devoted staff and loyal customers alike. He established an on-site training program called Ultimate Services University in 1990 to offer members of his organization the finest educational resource available in the industry.Staff members gain valuable knowledge here that they can utilize in the field to provide the cus tomer with the "ultimate" level of service. Course offerings include plant care, pesticide management, soil testing, customer service, computer skills, and beyond.

John Chiarella currently serves as president of Ultimate Services and heads a staff of nearly 100 dedicated employees. He proudly states that the existing team represents "the best in the history of our company." The organization has expanded, and features two additional divisions'the Sports and Leisure Division, and DAC Leasing.
